THE EMBASSY ATTENDS THE INTERNATIONAL BAMBOO AND RATTAN ORGANIZATION (INBAR)
On 28th March 2023, Mr Mafera Mwenda, First Secretary (Political) attended the 12th Session of the International Bamboo and Rattan Organization (INBAR) at the International Centre for Bamboo and Rattan (ICBR) in Beijing. The Session was attended by all its 50 Member states including Malawi.
Members discussed the importance and significant contribution made from the Bamboo investments, including its integration in tackling climate change disasters, carbon neutrality, green economic development, renewable and degradable biomass material compared to plastics.
