Visa Information & Notice

It is the responsibility of the applicant to verify VISA particulars before travelling. Applicants are advised to submit their completed application forms well in advance of their proposed date of departure. VISAS are valid ONLY from the date of issue and stated period. Applicants may be requested to submit additional supporting documentation. The Embassy issues only single entry visas valid for three months. Applicants wishing to get multiple-entry or extended visa, plus those requiring business residence permit must apply for them while in Malawi at the immigration department.

NOTE: Visitors on a visitors’ permit, can extend their stay to a maximum of 90 days upon payment of a prescribed fee for every 30-day extension.
