Visa Information For Category A Nationals of the all countries and administrative regions require visa endorsements to visit Malawi except for the following: Holders of United Nations Laissez- Passer whilst on U.N. official business; Holders of African Union Laissez- Passer whilst on official A.U. business; Holders of Africa Development Bank Laissez- Passer whilst on official A.D.B. business; Holders of International Red Locust Control Organization for Central and Southern Africa Laissez- Passer whilst on official I.R.L.C.O. business; Holders of Preferential Trade Area Laissez- Passer whilst on official P.T.A. business. NOTE: Visitors on a visitors’ permit, can extend their stay to a maximum of 90 days upon payment of a prescribed fee for every 30-day extension.
Citizens of countries and administrative regions listed in Category A, do not require a visa if they are intending to stay in Malawi for a maximum of 30 days. To stay beyond 30 days, they require visa endorsement. |
