Briefly, Malawi is a land-locked developing country in south-eastern Africa that has a number of unique opportunities. It is sub-tropical with warm weather and naturally green vegetation. The Malawi Government has liberalised its economy and foreign exchange rates, instituted business-friendly taxation regimes and introduced many investment incentives in order to attract quality foreign investment.

Already, Malawi has low production costs. Labour rates are very competitive. Additionally, the Malawian labour force is honest, dependable, hard-working, loyal, and easily trainable, thus operations of any investments in Malawi run smoothly and dependably. Furthermore, utilities such as power and water supply are available at very competitive rates. Besides, Malawi has several natural resources that are tourist attractions. These include Lake Malawi, game, natural scenery, activity-based and cultural tourism.
